Corona Virus Update

Dear Reader,

We hope you and your families are in good health, both physically, mentally and professionally. The current COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on all of us and the mundane will be a long road ahead and will require a lot from all of us. However we are seeing encouraging and positive signs these last few weeks. To continue on the positive track that we’re seeing, we want to invite our community to stay cautious and follow local safety guidance.

As organizer of our annual event we have heard many inspiring stories from our community and we would like to thank you. Together with local event venues and the Dutch government we are developing safety protocols for the Free From Expo: Packaging, this 24- 25 November in Amsterdam. Our main priority is to secure the safety of all attendees and to establish an expo that can be joined with confidence and security.

Solutions that are in consideration at the moment are of course the 1,5 meters protocol, which we plan to uphold by changing the walking course through the floorplan while still guaranteeing the bookings of our exhibitors. Walking routes, safe distancing and regular cleaning will also help to secure more safety at the venue.

We trust that we will organize the successful expo that many of you are accustomed to and others are expecting. Together we can start to fire up the economic engine of the food industry in a safe and secure way.

We look forward to seeing all of you on the 24th and 25th of November in Amsterdam.
